Kheri Goenpa in Pemagatshel is about ten minutes uphill trek from the Kheri Town. It was founded by Kuenga Wangpo, son of the great treasure revealer Pema Lingpa in 15th century. The structure is believe that it was built over the lake at which he meditated for several days. The main relics are some sacred statues of the Buddha, Guru Rinpoche, Chenrizig and Chuchizhey. The Tshechu is performed on the 10th day of the fourth month of the lunar calendar. Kheri Goemba will also offer a trekking experience from Kheri.
