Sergithang under Tsirang Dzongkhag is one of the beautiful place in Bhutan. The gewog is located in the North West of Tsirang Dzongkhag. Earlier it was called as Patalay. The name Sergithang was given by Queen Mother Azhi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck when she visited the gewog. Sergithang literally means land of gold. The main livelihood of the people out there is agriculture and livestock rearing. Gewog consists of five chiwogs namely Tashithang, Sergithang toed, Sergithang maed, Norboogang and Samdendzong. The Gewog has an area of 45.93 sq km with the elevation raising from 900 to 1500 meters above sea level It is one of the unique place and worth the visit. Sergithang Valley in Tsirang.
